Baby bumper for crib

I have had to keep busy so that I don't go to crazy, so I have been sewing again. I love the new crib bumper that I made. I can't wait until I get the skirting done and some curtains. Then my nursery will be complete. I loved the fabric when I saw it and I knew it would be fabulous in my nursery.

zipper headbands

Jes took this photo so show what it looked like in my hair. I love them. I am going to make some different variations on the flowers. The next ones are not going to be so flat. They were also very easy to make. You can make two flowers out of one zipper. I just used a baste stitch, I think that is what you call it, then I bunched and glued.

Crocheted hats

So I recentedly dusted off my crochet stuff and started trying to make something new. Here is what I came up with. I am not very good at it. I have only made blanket because I can not really follow a pattern and I don't really know the name of the stitches so I just wing it. I thought the hat turned out pretty cute, but I want to move the flower down a little lower. Also my 4 year old requested that I make her a matching scarf so I am finishing that.
